pearlyC: 2oo9 全国中学生戏剧 DIY 观摩赛 !

Heyya all ! finally i finished up with the uploading process of the pictures took in our first ever outta-school drama competition, which was held on the 30th August 2009 in Kajang's New Era College. We practiced for like a week started from that monday. tell you what, throughout the preparation and practice sessions of the competition, many obstacles occurred. it seems like we're stopped one time followed by another from time to time.

Firstly we had the h1n1 flu spread throughout the country. some of our members' siblings were eventually sick. and the most disadvantaging thing is that our leader of the group had fell sick! oh noo. therefore the other members tried very hard to think and crave for ideas for the drama. though we tried to contact each other through the phone or online. finally we had decided to present our drama with a title of 'One Malaysia' . of course, costumes were individually prepared.

Day 1 !

The day had finally arrived ! Speaking of how we get to the competition spot, we took the ktm directly to kajang. later then when we reached there, we asked for the way and walk along the street to reach the college. was damn hot and tired. got to the canteen to have lunch with other 5 groups. and later, gathered in the black box theatre. sounds cool rite. its a small yet not so small all-black theatre room with a technical area, where they control the musics and also the lighting on the ceilings. fascinating. Later then, every groups were called out to make an intro for their own group. our group had made a sexy one. of course, the sources of sexy ideas from our sexy qinyi. haha. " C C C C~~~~~..... SEXXYYY ! ! ! "thats our so-called slogan and yeah, we're the so-called sexy group among all the others. Lol~ about the ajk-s, they're sorta cool to me. they all study dramas.

We stay in a really comfortable classroom with air-conds, tables and chairs, white boards, high 5-s, television and radio. though they're all new ans not being used before. really nice and comfy place to spend our night and practice times. while practicing, i kept on forgetting my script -.-" as i only get to practice for a day. why? cuz before that i suddenly got banned by my mum from joining it. omg last minute's sudden decision. luckily she permits me to join in the end. phewww.

Throughout the rehearsing process, lightings, musics and steps of walking in and outta the stage were tested and tried out. hui yee is in charge of the musics while chin is in charge of the lighting. we discussed and practiced repeatedly until we're good enough on stage. slept comfortably at around 12 something night.

Day 2 !

Woke up at 8am. breakfast at 8.30am. gathered. danced together with the song 'Fly away' by FIR. was fun :) later then we are back to our own practice again, and started preparing with our costumes on. 1pm gathered in theatre room and later pro judges and fellow audience were invited into the theatre room as well. the most exiting ever drama competition experience had just begun !

i was very nervous as im kinda afraid that i would repeat the same mistakes made during practicing times. as for the rest, they were okay, as natural as usual. finally when its our turn, we did our very best, with full of courage :) However, all of the contestant groups chose ' H1N1 ' as their choice of drama.

When all the groups were done with their drama everyone had a break for like 10 minutes, when later we had the results' announcement time. we didnt win any awards in the end. after that, each and every of the judges gave professional judgement and comments on every groups. ours were quite bad for them. aint creative and dramatic enough, more like a sketch for them. we are damn deeply hurt inside T.T never come across these kinda cruel and straight forward sharp judgements and criticisms. aiks. all were down, but its okay for me as at least i learnt about the true drama techniques and tips as well. known some friends as well during bonding sessions while playing group games. while we were in the lift and it was moving half way down towards the ground floor, sze yuen suddenly realised that the pvc pipe she brought as her walking stick for her drams roll as a grandma was stucked in between the two lift's doors ! everyone was shocked. qinyi quickly pull the pipe inwards flawlessly. and you know what, the lift went bumpy up and down, so scary man ! omfg nearly died in the lift i guess. anyway we reached the ground floor safely after they had successfully got the pipe pulled in. phewww. luckily nothing happened. however, unbelievably, i was feel-less throughout the whole shocking process. weird huh. when the lift door opens, a bunch of indian people who were having a huge gathering in the college saw our horrified faces and asked what had actually happened. and guess what yan rou said : " Ohh! the lift! nearly dropped down! so scary! " omg? so cold man. the indians were instantly terrified but im not sure whether did they use the lift or not. Lol.

Left the area with a sad emotion later then without even saying good bye to anybody, no pictures were taken with the cool people there as well. our happy mood had just faded into thin air after being shot deadly by the judges. went to mid valley for dinner together then. Yoshinoya is the chosen one, deliciaso ! :P lol was soo nicee. everyone became happy instantly after that :)

After eating, we got back to the station immediately as its not early anymore. while waiting, qinyi spotted some indonesian guys with indonesian slang were kinda like stalking or peeking at us with intentions. therefore she told us all to beware with our belongings and stuffs. i hide my cell phone into my bag and hugged it. though, chin and may yee got their cell phones in their pockets, assuming that it'll be hard enough to be stolen as its tiddly stuck inside it. the ktm arrived and everyone ruched into it ! instantly i got a place to sit. yeah~ no needa stand, troublesome weih. anyway just then, chin found out that her cell phone had actually lost! searched everywhere, but was still no where to be found. we even tried to call, but its directly connected to the voicemail box -.-" later, may yee yelled that her cell phone is also missing! omg~ 2 gone at a time. while we were buzy searching, the pick-pockets went down at the next station. what the fuck. pro man. luckily mine was still here with me. phewww. everyone instantly became soo downn. sighhh.....

Later finally got back to kepong central. was damn tired. suddenly we saw fireworks up above in the sky! wow was soo nicee and romantic :) went back home later then.

This is the first ever adventurous experience that ive ever come across with. ive learnt that any problems could happen all at one time. we can even loose our pride, our courage and even life ! therefore we must be cooperate among one another, help out nay of our team members no matter at anywhere, anytime.

p/s : If its possible for us to seek for professional and useful guidance that works from experienced or professional teachers, we might reform our team once more and get a permanent group members with a permanent drama team name. let us enjoy what we're all in to and interested in ! DRAMA !!! :D
